Solo travel vs Group Travel

Do you travel solo? If Yes. I am sure you must have been showered with questions like don’t you feel lonely when you travel alone? How can anyone enjoy traveling alone?  Don’t you get bored? The reason people have such opinion for solo travel is because they never tried going out without company. Unless we get into some thing, it looks weird from a distance. But once someone gets a feel of it, they want more and more. Here is my take on solo and group travel. I respect if your opinion differs with mine at any point 🙂 Group travel: Traveling in group is fun anytime, there is no doubt about that. I mean, who wants to miss the jokes and pranks of the best mates. I have always enjoyed the trips and treks I have been with my buddies. When we travel with friends, a connection binds us together. And the more we travel, the stronger it becomes. The most welcoming part of group travel is the witness of the event or the …

motivational letter to a friend

Letter to a friend: I know you can do it!

To the dearest friend, Time flies by and we shall remain friends forever. Life will have many turns and we shall meet at every turn. I want and wish, that when our face gets overlayed with wrinkles and probably no teeth left, when our hair turns grey and our hands shake, that we shall pass the same warm smile the day we do today. Whether side by side or miles apart we be friends always close at heart. I define the life as a struggle. A struggle which someday will make you stand in front of yourself. When you will be out of hope and find no light. When you will feel why me and why life is so unfair? When you will be plagued with the feeling that nobody, nobody cares for me. Stop there! Pause for a moment. Think of the best thing you loved, think of the happiest moment you had. Widen your lips a bit and pass a smile to yourself. You deserve it. You have improved isn’t it? You will …

Sleeper class stories strangers kindness

Sleeper class stories: A strangers kindness

This story is from my travel to Benares in 2011. It is a simple real life story of an unexpected kindness showered from a stranger. And the kindness became worth mentioning because he shared whatever he had without looking for his comfort. The story taught me to ask for help and believe that somebody will surely care for your request. The world indeed has exceptions! So, let’s begin with the story. Hope you like it 🙂 The story taught me to ask for help and believe that somebody will definitely attend your request. The world indeed has exceptions! So, let’s begin with the story. Hope you like it 🙂 My college days were back in BHU hostel I was in the city of Benares lately renamed as Varanasi. The holiest city of all. People from all over the world flock here in search of mind and peace of mind. I was here for my Airforce SSB. I could not clear it though. So took refuge in my friend’s room in BHU (IIT Benaras Hindu University) …

Interview of a Road Racer

Hello guys. You all will be excited to meet our today’s guest. It was very difficult to connect with him due to his busy schedule. Popularly called Road Racer, we are the first one to interview Mr. Binahel. Welcome, sir! Would you like to introduce yourself to our new audience? Mr. Binahel: Hello, friends. I am sure you all know me. Yes. You must have probably seen me many times, either vrooming through the narrow city roads, zipping fast on the empty fly over with that loose unbuttoned Shirt filled with air and a nice pair of floaters.  Remember? Yes, there you are!! Interviewer: Thank you for your sweet introduction. We have heard that people use slangs for you when you pass them on your motorcycle? Is it true? Mr. Binahel: No, that’s not completely true. They are losers! Do you know one thing? I was loved by everyone, particularly young boys. And when I use to pull that throttle, all the heads turned towards me. I use to be the centre of attraction, a …
