About me

Thanks for being here!

Just as Ibn Battuta says “Traveling leaves you speechless and turns you into a storyteller” I can’t agree more. I belong to the category of frugal travelers and storytellers. I feel traveling low on a budget let me explore more and drags me closer to the places and peoples.

Budgetyatri.com is my attempt to write and share my experiences, stories, and contacts of trustworthy locals from different corners of India.

Majority of my journey are solo travels. But I do love traveling with my friends and that is an altogether different fun. Read which one is good traveling solo or with a group?

Bikes and Camera are two of my soulmates when it comes to wandering.

I own a Nikon D5100 with 18-55mm kit lens and Sigma 70-300mm telephoto lens.

I rode Bajaj Pulsar 150cc for 4 years before moving onto Bajaj Dominar 400 in July 2017. But I don’t take it everywhere I go. Now, we can find hundreds of motorcycle rentals throughout India. But taking our bike with us is always a good option.

Niraj Yadav Travel Blog

It feels good to be on the roads for more than 18,000 km. We get to learn so much. I came to know what’s “kutte ki maut” and “zindagi har kadam ek nayi jung hai” on the highway 😀Niraj Yadav True Wanderer 4.0

With luck and of course hard work 🙂 I could make it to the True Wanderer 4.0 finalist. It was a wonderful experience participating in the event. As the badge says they are in search of True Wanderers and you could be the one. They give fancy stuffs and paid ride to every finalist and a costly motorcycle to the winner. I liked the way you approached travelling. It’s a trend nowadays. Everybody is out with whatever they have, cars motorcycles, cycles and its good. Travelling teaches us so many things. But willing to learn everywhere you go is what I feel is interesting.
    You spoke my mind!!
All the best dear, keep riding!
Hope we will meet some day 🙂
